I wanted to post this separately so it would not be lost in all the other information.

When Rob is discharged from Kessler, he will require assistance while I am at work. Since we do not qualify for any state programs, we are in the process of looking for someone local who we can hire privately to attend to his needs while I am unavailable. His mom, Pat will be helping out tremendously during the initial weeks until we have a more permanent arrangment. However there is a period of time when she will be unable to be at the house in Sparta and therefore, we are searcing for someone to come and stay with us for this time period to assist Rob when I am at work Sunday 1-9pm and Monday-Thursday 2-10pm. The dates we need coverage are February 11-28th. The tasks would include: making dinner, preparing snacks/drinks, setting up his supplies for his catherization (which he can do independantly as long as all the packages are open), letting out the dog, and helping get him into bed (we have a machine called the Hooya which will lift him for you-no back muscle required If any of you have a week off, are not working, etc during this time period and you would be interested in staying with us for a little while (even if it is just a few days-clearly we cannot expect anyone to do it the entire time period), please contact me via email mandyheller@yahoo.com. We have a guest room on the 2nd level with a full bathroom so you would have an adequate amount of privacy. We would also be happy to reimburse you for any travel expenses. Thank you all in advance!
