Boy it has been quite a week! Mandy started her job last Monday and we moved into our new apartment on Friday/Saturday. We had to leave our former apartment because it converted into a vacation rental. It was a very stressful move....pretty much because Mandy came down with a cold (and because we have accumulated way too many things over the last few months). Thankfully, Wayne and Lenora were here for the weekend and spent many grueling hours putting together furniture from IKEA. We are so grateful to them for their help (as well as for the TV.The new apartment is great, we still have to put up some temporary fencing for Marley who immensely enjoys escaping to the neighbors yard (the neighbor is an elderly woman who feeds bread to the birds or so she thinks). The only problem we are having is with the mice who have taken over the kitchen. Hopefully, the landlords will send the pest control soon! Rob is doing okay...he is a little sore from rolling himself around the apartment because it is much bigger than our old place. No new progress to report this week. He is fighting some cold symptoms which are making things harder. We are finalizing details for Run for Robbie 2007 which will be held August 25, 2007 (race in Mannassas, VA and dinner in Sterling, VA). Please pencil it until we know for sure as we are awaiting one final approval. On a different note...We do want to take this opportunity to thank LPL Financial Services, San Diego who surprised us today by making Rob’s April Project Walk payment. We are OVERWHELMED by this gesture. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
