We didn’t want the babies/toddlers to feel left out on race day so we’ve created custom ‘Run for Robbie’ t-shirts for them to wear on September 8, 2007. We want to thank John Wayne Hero for hosting the Benefit Show last night. We are overwhelmed by the success of the event. Great job Northern Virginia! It’s just too bad we couldn’t fly in for the festivities. Thank you to all who attended.

Rob had a great week at Project Walk. He actually took one step without using a walker or arm crutches!! That’s right…..one step just like you and me! Let’s hope/pray he can add one step per week for the next year. Rob also had the opportunity to train with Ted Dardinski, founder of Project Walk this past Wednesday. They worked on standing up from a sitting position without holding on to anything. It took a few tries but Rob was able to do it once he was warmed up. His walking endurance is still lagging a bit but he is still making lots of progress and that’s what counts.
