Today was tough. Rob’s OT told him that the movement he was experiencing in his finger was not from the finger but from the wrist. They have also decided to tape his fingers in a fist at night to prevent his thumb from “wandering”. The therapist apparently used the phrase “if you get your fingers back”. For Rob it has been when not if all along. To top it off, dinner was not very good and it was raining. Fortunately Wayne came to visit and was able to get Rob laughing again. I know this is a minor and temporary setback for Rob but keep those positive thoughts and prayers headed his way.

Excellent News-
Rob was able to move his middle finger today!!!! He has been experiencing increased pain in his hands lately and we are hoping this is a sign of more to come. His spirits are great. Tomorrow is patient appreciation day so Kessler is planning lots of surprises. We are also preparing to celebrate our 1st anniversary this Sunday, Sept 18th. Kessler has arranged for us to have a private room for dinner. I’ll keep you posted!
