I know it has been a while since our last post, however, I was waiting for something big to report. Today, I am thrilled to announce that Rob fed himself breakfast!!! This is especially great news given the fact I am returning to work tomorrow. We are both a little sad that our time together will now be limited but he has promised to show me something new each time we see each other. Until next time.....

I just had a VERY interesting encounter that I have to share. So I am in the lobby of Kessler waiting for Rob to finish therapy. I just happened to be listening to the conversation next to me (as I always do) and guess who was having the conversation........one of the actors from Murder ball! His name is Keith and he is the one in the movie who is “newly injured”. We spoke for awhile and he shared some remarkable progress. He had a C1, 4 and 5 fracture and was a ‘complete’ injury. He is now able to move his feet, and has full upper body. It really is tremendous given the diagnosis of complete. Rob as many of you know is ‘incomplete’ but it was definitely was encouraging to hear of someone with worse injuries doing so well. Anyways, Keith wrote Rob a note and promised to visit him. I also informed him that Rob would make an excellent actor if he has any other gigs going on. Wouldn’t that be something if Rob was in Murder ball 2! Keep your fingers crossed. Love, Mandy
